Can I use your work for free taggiug, signature, stats, and tubing?

The answer to this is NO!  However I do allow PAID use of my work for these purpose. More information on purchasing licenses will be available soon. Unless you have PAID for a license thru ME or CILM, please DISCONTINUE any and all use of my art in tagging, tubing, signature making, and stats. I am currently the only one authorized to issue a license to use my work. All previous licenses sold are still vailid and will be honored. If you are interested in purchasing PSP licenses please see the Up Your Art's website! They offer very affordable licensing options and have frequent sales and specials. Please resepect my right as an artist to make a living with my art and respect my copyrights!

Can I display your work on my website for artists?
You may use my images exactly the way they are now posted to dispay on any site that creates a gallery of work that PROPERLY credits artists works. All images must remain exactly as they are now posted, no editing may be done, besides proportional resizing. Copyright credit with a link back to my site MUST be given. DO NOT link directly to my images. Please copy them to your hard drive.

Can I use your work to make avatars?
You may use my images to make avatars. The title of your avatar must include my copyright information.
ex. avatarbyabrandasisson.jpg. I have made a few avatars from my more popular work that can be downloaded and used for free. They are located here. Please DO NOT link to them directly. Save them to your harddrive for uploading to your forum, chat room, messaging service, etc.

Where did the name MuddVision come from?
My maiden name is Mudd. Yes, I was teased horribly in school. But I thought it was a cool name so I named my web site after it as a way to keep my heritage. I didn't start selling my work til after I changed my name to my married name. And it seemed too complicated to change it after my divorce. Though I am considering dropping my last name entirely.

How are Your Prints Made?
I use an archival inkjet printing process to produce my prints similiar to the French Giclee printing process that is the standard for fine art inkjet printing. The process produces archival results for beautiful Fine Art Reproducations.  This is NOT a process that can be done on any inkjet printer but requires special higher quality equipment, inks, and papers.

Each original image is scanned into a photoshop program at an extremely high resolution. Then the image is matched as closely as possible to the original painting and saved to a digital file. Once this is complete, which takes several hours, the image is then printed also at an extremely high DPI on an Epson Ink Printer using 7 or 8 different colors of ink.

Epson is known for it's incredible reputation of quality printing for art reproductions. The 8 colors of ink allow for the most accurate depth and color reproduction possible. The paper used is a high quality Epson paper with archival qualities. For all Limited Edition prints, I only use Printable Watercolor Paper or Velvet Fine Art Papers. These papers are made specifically for epson printers, and in my experience, have given the highest quality of all papers I have used for the best price. Given the right display conditions, i.e. displayed indoors away from direct sunlight under glass, the prints purchased from this site should last up to 100+ years with no noticeable fading.

Open Edition prints are printed on a heavy stock archival paper. These prints are less archival but are still of exceptional quality and should last for 25+ years with proper handling.

Please understand this is a one women operation. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery after payment clears. 

Do You Offer Refunds/Exchanges?
MuddVision Studios takes pride in it's products.  If you are unhappy with your purchase, please let me know. If the complaint is resonable,  MuddVision's policy is to first exchange the item for another product. If the same product is no longer available, then I offer store credit. There are NO refunds on original works of art. Refunds are only given as a last resort if another solution can not be reached.
