T.J Kellys under 12 Southern Redbacks versed Wynnum at Jimboomba on Saturday.
It was great to play our last game for the season on home turf and didn’t the team come out fired up and rearing to win.
It was second playing third, and next week we play Wynnum all over again in the first final at Jindale.

Our Leading scorers were Alex Bond, Jarrod hatog, Tim Tate, Bradley LeedhamJosh Armstrong, Josh Brookes and Jack Peters who came up from the back line to have a go in the forward line, took a brilliant mark in front of goals to finish off with a grand goal.
But we have to give young Ben Gillham a wrap of his own, as he played an exceptional game throughout. Not only did Ben score three great goals but he covered the whole field with hes little athletic legs. Keep up the good work Ben.

The final score was Redbacks 14.4 88 to Wynnum 4.6 26

Players of the match went to Jarrod Hartog, Ben Gillham, Alex Applewaite and Reece Murrell.
Kangaroos awards went to Alex Bond, Sean Bridges and Bradley Leedham.
Next week we are at Jindale at 9:15 am so we need to be there by 8:15.
Training is at the usual place and times and everyone needs to put in 100per cent if we are to make to finals to the very end.
